Lectura-Performance, de duración de 35 o más minutos, que utiliza medios análogos (cine 16mm) y medios digitales utilizando combinaciones entre estos formatos, además diversas formas de visualización, comprensión y exposición de material fílmico y narrativo de la película The Silent War: Colombia´s fight against yellow fever. Esta es una película de propaganda que presenta la figura del mosquito de manera que sobre él se construye una narrativa potente para comprender un contexto narrativo social y político dentro de un universo audiovisual de la guerra fría.
El dispositivo combina tecnologías digitales con tecnologías análogas, explorando posibilidades y miradas con las cuales aproximarse a un material histórico inusual, y resignifica las condiciones contextuales de su realización, revisando en vivo, leyendo críticamente sus discursos e imágenes y afectando materialmente una narrativa por vías de la experimentación artística desde los gestos y acciones de la figura del proyeccionista.
Este performance se derivó del proyecto de investigación-creación "Las cruzadas del mosquito", del Departamento de Artes Visuales.

Viviendo en los bordes tiene su origen en la propuesta titulada “Always (K)new”, realizada entre la Universidad de Georgia (apoyado por el programa LACSI y The Portuguese Flagship Program), la Universidad Sao Joao do Rei y la Universidad Javeriana (apoyado por la Vicerrectoría de Investigación. Convocatoria: Apoyo a la creación). Consistió en la realización de una puesta en escena teatral en consonancia con algunas animaciones que interactuaban con los actores, a manera de collage visual. La obra se conformó a partir de entrevistas realizadas a diferentes personas de la comunidad LGTBI, en Bogotá, Colombia, Athens, EE.UU y en Minas Gerais, Brasil. La idea de centrarnos en la comunidad LGTBI surgió en parte, por la ausencia de este tipo de manifestaciones en el medio universitario, pues, encontramos que es todavía un tema tabú, por lo que involucrar a los estudiantes a que hicieran parte del equipo de trabajo resultó vital para el proyecto, no solo por el resultado final sino especialmente por las discusiones que se crearon al interior del grupo. Quisimos hacer un montaje similar en Bogotá, pero por diversas circunstancias no fue posible, lo que nos llevó a pensar en otro tipo de acercamiento al tema, que seguía inquietándonos y haciéndonos muchas preguntas. De la experiencia anterior, conservamos la estrategia de las entrevistas e involucramos algunos teóricos, además de las interpretaciones a partir de la animación y el video, lo que nos llevó a tomar la decisión de utilizar la red como soporte, ya que el mismo medio, nos ayuda a pensar y a expresarnos de una manera más amplia e incluyente, sumando cada vez más voces que se quieran manifestar. Nos concentramos especialmente en la pregunta sobre el cuerpo, entendiéndolo como el “lugar” donde se evidencian las emociones y desde donde se libran las experiencias con el mundo, ¿Cuál es el lugar de cuerpo en una sociedad que se debate entre lo plural y lo unívoco? ¿Cómo se transita por el mundo cuándo no es posible inscribirse en un sistema binario? Fueron preguntas que nos guiaron para iniciar esta búsqueda que esperamos continuar alimentando. La pieza final es un documental para Internet y cuenta con un total de sesenta vídeos entre animaciones, entrevistas y algunas piezas de carácter híbrido, la duración de cada vídeo es variable, y están asociados por temas. El documental es resultado del proyecto de investigación-creación "Exilio", del grupo de investigación Pedagogía, tecnología y sociedad en las Artes Visuales, de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.<br /><br /><a href="https://viviendoenlosbordes.moebiusanimacion.com/">https://viviendoenlosbordes.moebiusanimacion.com/</a>

<p><strong>2. La piedra de Bolívar<br /></strong>En 1826 El Libertador Simón Bolívar se encontraba con un grupo de personas de paseo en el Salto del Tequendama, era de mañana y el sol se asomaba detrás de una montaña, iluminando una densa neblina blanca que se elevaba lentamente desde el fondo. El grupo se localizaba en el costado oriental del salto, justo al borde del precipicio donde el río Bogotá se lanza violenta y velozmente al fondo del abismo, el agua estaba fría. El Libertador saltó a una piedra en medio del río, justo donde el agua se despeña, después de un pequeño trastabillo logró pararse firme sobre la superficie, sin embargo estaba húmeda, resbalosa, cubierta en parte de algas verdes y brillantes, sus botas y espuelas se mojaban lentamente. Algunos de los acompañantes gritaban a Bolívar que volviera, sin embargo el atronador rugido de la catarata enmudecía sus súplicas. El, impávido, miraba fijamente al horizonte, allá donde la cordillera desciende hacia el valle del río Magdalena. <em><strong>Diego Benavides (2013)</strong></em></p>
<p><strong><strong>3.Laguna<br /></strong></strong>Los viajeros que han tenido ocasión de contemplar de cerca la gran cascada de Tequendama, no se admirarán de que a estas piedras que parecen talladas por mano humana se atribuya origen milagroso por pueblos bastos e incultos, a ese antro estrecho en que se precipita un río que reúne las aguas del valle de Bogotá.<br /><strong><em>Alexander von Humboldt<br /><br />4.Chimenea<br /></em></strong>"El Bogotá, después de haber recorrido con paso lento y perezoso la espaciosa llanura de su nombre, vuelve, de repente, su curso hacia Occidente y comienza a atravesar por entre el cordón de montañas que están al Suroeste de Santa Fé. Aquí, dejando esa lentitud melancólica, acelera su paso, forma olas, murmullos y espumas. Rodando sobre un plano inclinado, aumenta por momentos su velocidad. Corrientes impetuosas, golpes contra las rocas, saltos, ruido majestuoso, suceden al silencio y a la tranquilidad. En la orilla del precipicio todo el Bogotá se lanza en masa sobre un banco de piedra; aquí se estrella, allí da golpes horrorosos, aquí forma hervores, borbollones, y se arroja en forma de plumas divergentes más blancas que la nieve, en el abismo que lo espera".<strong><em><br /><span>Francisco José de Caldas<br /><br /></span>5.Hotel <br /></em></strong>“Toda la élite de Bogotá se había reunido esa noche en la fiesta de inauguración del lujoso Hotel del Salto. Los enormes espejos de los salones reflejaban la elegancia y ostentación de los interiores, decorados al gusto francés. Era un gran día, muy esperado y celebrado por la burguesía colombiana, presta a disfrutar de la fastuosidad de un hotel convertido en lugar de moda y de referencia al lado del popular salto del río Bogotá. Esplendor y lujo restaban a la naturaleza salvaje del bosque húmedo, envuelto siempre en una densa niebla…” <br /><em><strong>Margarita Barbachano.</strong></em><br /><br /><strong><em>6. Caida Libre<br /></em></strong>"bajamos, en cuatro patas, literalmente, por un húmedo, siniestro, áspero sendero que conduce a una peña. <strong>Cortometraje documental sobre el Mundo de Creación del Pueblo Arhuaco.</strong> Contiene voces e imágenes de Mamos y líderes de la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, contiene información relevante sobre los principios fundamentales y conocimiento ancestral del Pueblo Arhuaco relacionados con los procesos de creación y creaciones objetuales tradicionales desde la propia concepción de los miembros de esta comunidad. Esta obra exalta la tradición oral y las creaciones tradicionales, especialmente el tejido, textil y objetos tejidos. Así mismo reconoce la creación indígena contemporánea plasmada en soporte audiovisual.
